J‚Äčersey Airport will welcome one of its most eagerly anticipated visitors of the year on Saturday 03 December 2016 with the official arrival in the Island of Father Christmas.

Accompanied by his helpers, he is due to 'arrive' by a special charter flight direct from Lapland and youngsters will have the opportunity to meet him in the arrivals terminal before he sets off on his customised sleigh for the start of the official tour of the Island as part of the annual Joint Christmas Appeal, organised by the Jersey Round Table.

Group Marketing & Communications Manager for Ports of Jersey, Alan Donald, said: "We look after many VIP guests at Jersey Airport, ranging from visiting royalty to rock stars but the arrival of Father Christmas is probably our most eagerly anticipated. We hope many children will join us on Saturday afternoon and help us give Father Christmas a proper Jersey welcome".

Father Christmas is due to arrive at Jersey Airport at 1:50pm and will leave at approximately 2:20pm. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
