Notice to ALL departing passengers
Please remember:-
EACH passenger is limited to one piece of hand baggage unless permitted otherwise by their airline.
Please note that many of the airlines flying from Jersey only allow one item of hand luggage on board - a handbag and/or laptop may count as one item - please check with your carrier to avoid unnecessary delays in security, or worse, the need for you to return to check-in to place the extra item in the hold.
The maximum dimensions of this one item of cabin baggage are determined by your airline - please check their respective website for details.
Liquid restrictions:-
You are allowed only small quantities of liquids in your hand luggage.
These liquids must be in individual containers each with a maximum capacity of 100 millilitres. You must pack these containers in one transparent re-sealable plastic bag of not more than 20cm x 20cm (8” x 8”).
To ease your transit through security please:-

present your re-sealable plastic bag with the liquid containers inside to the screener at the X-ray for screening;

take off any coat and/or jacket (including suit jackets). They will be screened separately;

remove your shoes if requested;

remove your laptop and other large electrical devices from your hand luggage. They will be screened separately whilst you are screened.
'Liquids' = water and other drinks, soups, creams, lotions, oils, pastes, gels (including hair and shower), contents of pressurized containers (including shaving foam and deodorants), mascara, lip gloss and other similar items.
Pushchairs and walking aids are permitted, but will be X-ray screened.The acceptance of any item through security is by approval of the airport authority. The acceptance of any item onto an aircraft is by approval of the airline.

Please check with your individual airline the minimum check-in time for departing flights from Jersey as this varies from airline to airline
