From Jersey Airport
15th May 2023

Aer Lingus Regional’s new route between Jersey and Belfast City Airport has launched.

Operated by Emerald Airlines, the service is running twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays. This is the first time Jersey has had an air link with Belfast City Airport since 2013, and the flights offer 6,000 seats throughout the summer.

This new route to Belfast joins the airline’s existing Dublin service which operates twice weekly throughout the summer months.

Ports of Jersey’s Chef Executive, Matt Thomas, has welcomed the new route: “I’m pleased that Aer Lingus Regional is demonstrating confidence in Jersey as a destination. We discuss new routes regularly with our airline partners and aiming to improve our connectivity. This route is strengthening our connections and expanding travel options for both Islanders and visitors.”

Ciarán Smith, Head of Commercial at Emerald Airlines said: “We are delighted to be adding this new route from Jersey to Belfast City. Renowned for its vibrant culture, a city break to Belfast from Jersey is now that bit easier. We look forward to welcoming passengers on board and providing them with a seamless and enjoyable travel experience.”

Fares start at £46.99 each way as part of a return trip, and can be booked at aerlingus.com
