Jersey Airport to welcome festive favourite
From Jersey Airport
4th December 2019
Jersey Airport will once again welcome one of the Island’s most eagerly anticipated visitors of the year this Saturday 7 December 2019, with the ‘official’ arrival of Father Christmas.
Accompanied by his helpers, he is due to ‘arrive’ on a special direct flight from Lapland and youngsters will have the opportunity to meet him in the Arrivals Terminal before he sets off on his customised sleigh for the start of the official tour of the Island as part of the annual Joint Christmas Appeal, organised by the Jersey Round Table.
On behalf of Ports of Jersey, Alan Donald, says, “We look after many VIP guests travelling in and out of Jersey Airport throughout the year, but the arrival of Father Christmas is without doubt one of our most eagerly anticipated travellers and for us, signifies the official start of the festive season. We hope many children will join us on Saturday afternoon and help us give Father Christmas a proper Jersey welcome.”
Father Christmas is due to arrive at Jersey Airport on Saturday 7 December 2019 at approximately 1:50pm and will leave at approximately 2:20pm. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
