Preparing for the October Half Term ‘Get-Away’
From Jersey Airport
19th October 2021
With the October Half-Term ‘getaway’ due to begin later this week, Ports of Jersey is issuing some timely advice and reminders to passengers.
Usually one of the most popular, and therefore busiest times of the year, passengers, especially those travelling with children, should allow more time than usual for their journey through the terminals, in particular checking in luggage and clearing central security. Helpful advice can be found online
Despite the easing of some travel restrictions, all passengers arriving into Jersey, including residents, must still complete and submit their online travel form within 48-hours of returning. Failure to do so could lead to an unnecessary delay in the arrival process. Anyone unsure of the current travel restrictions or seeking further advice and clarification should visit
Anyone parking their car at Jersey Airport for a minimum of 3-days whilst travelling away over the October Half Term holidays can also take advantage of some promotional rates in the main car park, with savings of up to 50% to be had. Details of the offer can be found online
Passengers are being reminded that the wearing of a facemask is still required when using the terminals at Jersey Airport or St Helier Harbour as well as onboard the aircraft/boat.
Over 21,500 air and sea passengers are expected to travel in and out of the Island’s ports over the four days between Thursday 21 and Sunday 24 October 2021.
