Update on air travel – January 2021

From Jersey Airport
8th January 2021

Following the introduction of the latest lockdown restrictions in the UK, a number of airlines have taken the decision to suspend or reduce their scheduled services, including those operating to Jersey.

  • easyJet:  With effect from Sunday 10 January 2021, easyJet will suspend services to/from Jersey from London Gatwick and Liverpool until 1st February. Similarly, its Glasgow service is suspended until mid-February and Manchester until end of February. Passengers who are affected by these cancellations are being contacted directly by the airline and offered a refund or alternative dates.

  • British Airways: In a similar move, British Airways is also reducing its Heathrow/Jersey service and will now operate on Fridays and Sundays only until mid-February. Once again, passengers are being contacted directly by the airline with alternative travel options.

  • Blue Islands: Blue Islands continues to operate services to/from Southampton and is working closely with Government of Jersey and Ports of Jersey to ensure the continuity of essential connectivity for Islanders.

Ports of Jersey remains in very close contact with our airline partners, as together we manage the evolving impact of the pandemic on air and sea travel.  We will advise accordingly of any further changes to schedules.
