General facilities at Jersey Airport

Baggage trolleys

Complimentary baggage trolleys are provided throughout the airport, but cannot be taken through central security search.

Thank you for returning the baggage trolleys to the designated areas after use.​ They must not be taken off Airport premises.

Cash Facilities

There is a cash dispenser machine once you go through central security, before you go through to your boarding gate. It issues UK Sterling for which there is no handling fee.

There is one cash dispenser machine in the landside arrivals terminal, which dispenses Jersey currency only (please note that Jersey currency has the same monetary value of UK Sterling)

A Bureau de Change facility is available from Customer Relations in the Departures’ Terminal where money can be changed into a number of different foreign currencies. To find out if it holds the currency you need and to reserve it in advance, please telephone +44 (0) 1534 446 000. A limit of £50 is placed on changing Jersey currency to UK Sterling.

This facility will finish at 7pm on Sunday 24 March, as the Post Office is closing. Foreign currency is available through the Post Office website, and in their branches at Broad Street (20 currencies) and at Rue des Pres (EUR and USD). Their western branches in St Peter and St Brelade remain open for postal services in the Airport vicinity.

Chapel

A small chapel is situated on the ground floor of the airside departures lounge, adjacent to the doors leading to the passenger pier/departure gates.

All departing passengers are welcome to use this facility, for quiet prayer or contemplation.

Charging Zone

Passengers can plug in, power up and relax. Equipped with plug and USB sockets, shelving and chairs, all passengers need is their charger. It’s free, but if you’d like to donate to one of our charity partners, there’s a charity box nearby.

Dogs allowed at Jersey Airport

Dogs are not permitted in the terminals at Jersey Airport, with the exception of guide and hearing assistance dogs, which must be kept on a lead at all times.

Executive Lounge : British Airways passengers

The Executive Lounge is located next to Gate 2 in the airside passenger pier and is a third party lounge operated by ASCIL.

This lounge is open to Club Europe passengers, together with Gold & Silver Executive Club card members.

The summer opening hours (31 March to 31 October) are:

  • Monday 6am to 8.00pm
  • Tuesday 6am to 6.30pm
  • Wednesday 6am to 8.30pm
  • Thursday 6am to 8.30pm
  • Friday 6am to 8.30pm
  • Saturday 6am to 6.30pm
  • Sunday 6am to 8.30pm

Medical first aid

If you feel unwell or injure yourself during your time at Jersey Airport, please approach a member of staff who will call for assistance.

If necessary, the Jersey Airport Rescue and Fire Service or the States of Jersey Ambulance Service will be called upon to provide further medical assistance.

Photo Booth

A photo booth taking images suitable for passports, driving licences, etc. is available in an enclosed area outside the Arrivals’ Terminal (adjacent to the parking pay machines)

Smoking

In accordance with the smoking policy in all public buildings and workplaces, smoking, including the use of e-cigarettes, is not permitted anywhere inside the terminals and only in designated areas outside the buildings.

There are no smoking facilities in the airside departure lounge.

Wifi

Complimentary wifi access is provided throughout Jersey Airport.

To use, select ‘Ports of Jersey Public Wifi’ from the list of available options. Add your email address, password and accept terms of use. You can use this password for future use of wifi at Jersey Airport.
