Flight delays and cancellations
If flights are delayed or cancelled, screens in the Airport will give the most up to date information. If you have queries about a delay or cancellation, you should contact your airline first.
You can also go to our Travel Disruption Desk at Gate 3 in the Departures Terminal.
If your departing flight is affected by weather
Passengers should check-in on time or as advised by their airline. If your flight is delayed, you should remain at the Airport.
If an arriving aircraft is flying in a holding pattern due to weather, please keep in mind you could be called to board at short notice.
If your flight is cancelled
If your flight is cancelled, you should contact your airline directly to make alternative arrangements.
Changing your flight after check-in
If you’re already checked in for a flight but need to change to alternative flight or airline, go to Travel Disruption Desk at Gate 3. If the disruption desk is not open, go to our Assisted Travel Desk.
Duty free goods
Duty free goods are controlled by customs regulations. If you don’t depart from the Airport where you have purchased duty free goods, then you will need to return your purchases to Duty Free for a refund before leaving the Airport.
If you are leaving the airport and returning at a different time due a flight being rescheduled, you can ask Duty Free to hold your purchases aside until you return. If Duty Free is closed, you will need to return your good to central security.
Compensation for passengers with delays and cancelled flights
EU airlines are bound by a compensation scheme. Airlines implement the policy in different ways. Check with your airline policy before booking.
