A new chapter for Jersey Airport dining as Ports of Jersey partners with TRGC

Published: 12 December 2025

Ports of Jersey today announces a long-term partnership with TRG Concessions (TRGC) to enhance Jersey Airport’s food and beverage experience. This collaboration aims to combine TRGC’s experience with Jersey’s unique identity, local produce and talented hospitality workforce.

Ports of Jersey would like to recognise and warmly thank Jersey Pottery Restaurants (JPR) for their valued contribution over many years, including their vital support during the Covid period. JPR stepped in on a temporary basis and quickly became an established partner, building a strong relationship with Ports of Jersey as they adapted and enhanced their offer while listening closely to passenger feedback. JPR will continue to operate Café Ubé until early 2027, ensuring continuity for passengers and staff.

TRG Concessions, part of The Restaurant Group ltd, brings more than 34 years of experience in travel hospitality and a strong reputation for quality, operating successful dining concepts across major airports and travel hubs worldwide.

From 2027, TRGC will introduce a brand-new flagship offering: The Shoreline Café Bar & Kitchen. TRGC collaborated with Dunk Design, a leading creative agency and Grapes, a multi-award-winning interior design consultancy, to bring to life a concept inspired by Jersey’s coastline, community and local character. The Shoreline Café Bar & Kitchen will feature restaurant dining with a full hot-food menu, crafted around fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

As part of the planned transition, existing JPR staff will transfer to TRGC.

A future food and drink experience built for Jersey

The Shoreline Café Bar & Kitchen will deliver a fresh, contemporary, locally rooted experience with a 228-seat dining space designed for comfort, flexibility and flow including:

  • A full-service restaurant and café serving hot meals, freshly prepared dishes, seasonal specials, barista-made coffee and light bites
  • Serviced bar and convenient grab and go options for time pressed passengers
  • Strong local supplier partnerships, showcasing Jersey produce and hospitality
  • A new brand and interior concept inspired by the island’s landscape, colours and natural identity

Inspired by Jersey’s rugged coastline and countryside – from samphire and sea lavender to gorse, thyme and ocean textures – TRGC has used its market-leading expertise and attention to detail to ensure The Shoreline Café Bar & Kitchen celebrates the essence of island life through both its design and dining experience.

Ports of Jersey CEO, Matt Thomas, said: “Today signals an exciting long-term investment in Jersey Airport’s future. This partnership with TRGC gives us the opportunity to elevate the airport experience, champion local suppliers and deliver a hospitality offering that genuinely reflects our island identity. We’re looking forward to working together on what comes next.”

Kirsten Pottinger, Commercial Director for TRGC, added: “We’re thrilled to work with Ports of Jersey on The Shoreline Café Bar & Kitchen. Its menu, service and design are all crafted to capture the true heart of Jersey, enriching the airport’s transformation and creating a memorable welcome for travellers for years to come. We can’t wait to bring this vision to life with our partners and the airport team.”
