I have a medical flight, what do I do?

The Travel Office in Health and Care Jersey is aware of all confirmed bookings including patients and those people travelling with them and will contact you directly.

  • If you are booked to travel over the weekend, you will be prioritised and contacted as soon as possible. They will be working through bookings in departure order and clinical importance (for example, actual surgery or treatment planned to take place).
  • If you are booked to travel next week, the Travel Office will call you according to your flight schedule by 5pm on Monday.

If you do not hear from The Travel Office by the relevant time, please call 01534 442323 or Hospital Switchboard on 01534 442000, who will ensure the Travel Team supports you.

For travel scheduled beyond next week or if you have general queries, you may also email HSS.TravelService@health.gov.je for further information.
